"The deed there is, but no doer thereof
Nirvana is, but no one seeking it..."
- Buddha

The end of all seeking...

"There is no language of the holy.
The sacred lies in the ordinary"

Nondual Birds
The message of nonduality (Advaita) points to the freedom, liberation and enlightenment that is always fully present, right in the midst of Life, but is apparently ignored by the seeking mind in its desperate, lifelong quest for "something more". This is not a new message: it's been pointed at throughout the ages, in all the world's major spiritual/wisdom traditions: Advaita, Sufism, Zen, Dzogchen, Gnostic Christianity...

Life Without A Centre is not about taking on a new set of beliefs, nor getting rid of old ones. It's not about meditation, self-denial, or beginning a new spiritual practice, although any or all of these things may arise. No, this message is simpler (and yet more radical) than any of that: it's about Life as it already is. It's about the possibility that this (what is happening presently) is all there is, and that the person who seeks, who suffers, who longs to be free, has no more reality than a presently arising thought.
In other words, "you" are just a belief, arising now... arising in this absolute freedom, this liberation, this clarity that a mind seeking "intellectual understanding" could never, ever see...

But please don't misunderstand: there is nothing on offer here for the "individual", the isolated "self", the separate mind-made "ego". No, the individual is the illusion, and this message is not about feeding that illusion, or adding more content to the already bloated ego. No, it's in the seeing-through of the illusion (something the isolated individual could never do!) that the freedom reveals itself: a freedom beyond imagination. And what a paradox this all seems to the rational mind!

You see, the extraordinary was always right here, present in and as the utterly ordinary. And the extraordinary was never separate from the ordinary in the first place - separation is an illusion of mind!
There has only ever been this obvious present appearance of life. There has only ever been THIS: aliveness, Oneness, Being, Life itself, playing at being an "outside world", playing at forgetting it was only ever playing.

And the spiritual search, the search of a lifetime, only ever brought us here: to hear that none of it ever happened in the first place.

The search is already over. Welcome home.
