THE DEEPEST ACCEPTANCE – RADICAL AWAKENING IN ORDINARY LIFE
What is spiritual awakening? What is enlightenment? What is true meditation? What is healing, in the deepest sense? Why do we suffer, and is there a way out of suffering? How does spiritual awakening relate to addiction, to conflict in relationships, to physical pain, to our search for love? Who are you, beyond all images of yourself?
Is it possible to discover deep acceptance within present experience, no matter what the circumstances?
With his gentle and loving guidance, Jeff Foster points us back to who we really are, to the timeless present moment, and to the vast, loving, open space of awareness that embraces every thought, every sensation, every feeling as it comes and goes.
In the meetings we deeply explore the nature of our own experience, not with the aim of ‘fixing’ it in the future, but of seeing the wholeness and completeness within it right now. We take a deep look at how and why we suffer in our lives, and expose the illusions and assumptions at the root of all our problems. We explore everything from intimate relationships, to honest communication, to addictions and the search for spiritual enlightenment – and we discover how suffering can melt away in clear seeing of what is.
Silence, laughter, lightness, a sense of real intimacy, honesty and friendship are the hallmarks of encounters with Jeff. His meetings are very spontaneous and informal, and there are plenty of opportunities to share and ask questions, if you are so moved. And of course, if you just want to sit in silence and listen, then that’s fine too…
